ICES 2011 Recap
From Wilton Int'l Inside Sales Rep Mari Pantoja
ICES 2011 was a colorful and creative success! This year the convention was held in Charlotte, NC.
The Wilton booth was stunning with color of the various cakes on display directly from the Wilton 2012 Yearbook! Our latest products were received with much enthusiasm and the new Silicone Gum Paste and Fondant Molds were the stars due to the variety of designs and economic price. We can’t keep them in stock in our warehouse and customers can’t keep them in stock in their stores. They are flying off the shelves of the Wilton warehouse and customers’ stores!
Everyone was also very intrigued by Punch.Cut.Decorate! Punch.Cut.Decorate! display cakes featured striking color and intricate designs that are simple to achieve with our new tools.
Many of our international clients also attended ICES and stopped in the Wilton stand to view the latest products. They came from Ecuador, Ghana, the Netherlands, Nigeria, Puerto Rico, Peru, and Trinidad, just to name a few. As always, I’m amazed and inspired to continue on my journey of sugar artistry via cake decorating. Hooray for ICES!
